In this article, I am going to show you how to start a WordPress blog with WPX Hosting in your spare time. This is a personal project for me.

The first thing you will need to do is find a suitable platform where you can create your own websites. There are many of these platforms out there. I use Google's Blogger, but there are many others that you could use too.

Once you have chosen a platform, you will need to register your blog. You will need to login using your blog account and your username.

Once you have registered, you will then be able to edit the design of your blog. You can change the theme colors, and many other options.

Now, you need to get to work to submit your website. To do this, you will need to log into your site manager account. Then, select the 'Add New Blog' option from the top menu.
From here, you will enter your website URL, and your chosen name for your blog. I chose 'how to start a WordPress blog' as my website name. From here, click on the 'Create Post' button to create your blog post.

If you would like to publish your blog, you can do so by clicking on the 'Publish Blog' button on the top menu. You will be given an option to include or exclude any posts you would like to publish. Once you have done this, you will be prompted to review your blog to make sure that everything is correct.

At this point, you will need to check for new entries. If you have updated content or new blog posts, they will appear in your list of 'new posts'. You will need to choose the 'New Post' button and enter the content for your blog.

Once you have reviewed your blog, you will need to remove any entries that you would rather leave as 'New Entries'. Click on the 'View' menu option and select 'Edit' from the menu. Here, you will have the option to delete your blog post or use the 'delete post' link.

Now, you are ready to publish your blog. Once you have clicked on the 'Publish' button, your blog will appear at the bottom of the page. If you would like to have a link to your site on the top, you can do so by clicking on the 'link to your site' link.

A few things you may want to do after publishing your blog is to upload a new theme, or add a new tag. I have included the basics here. If you would like more information, you can go to my website to read more about the basics of setting up a WordPress blog.
